We are a club dedicated to bring people ​together through the transformative power of ​empathy and compassion towards helping each ​other succeed. And we succeed together by ​improving our leadership and communications, ​skills. In addition to the Toastmasters ​experience, High Flyers also helps you build your ​decisiveness in business settings, feeds your ​curiosity by discussing trending tech, and ​innovative ideas. Whether you're a seasoned ​speaker or just starting your journey, High Flyers ​is the place where you can spread your wings, ​overcome challenges, and soar to new heights. ​Join us in this exciting adventure of self-​discovery and improvement.


The club meets every Wednesday at Fuzzy ​conference room on 2nd Floor, Brokaw B. The ​meeting times are from 12 Noon to 1 PM.

Meet the people behind High Flyers, the club officers.

Jessie

President, 2024-25

Jessie has been an active member of Toastmasters for the past ​one year, demonstrating remarkable commitment to personal ​and professional development. She is also the co-founder of ​High Flyers club. Currently serving as the President of the club, ​she is responsible for overall club leadership and ensuring that ​the club meets its goals and objectives. Jessie is a software ​engineer, and takes keen interest in upcoming technologies ​and related startup ideas. Her hobbies include painting, music, ​and anything creative. She has also run several social projects ​single handedly.

Kasthuri has been an active toastmaster for over an year. He is ​responsible for overseeing the educational development of the ​club's members. He plays a crucial in ensuring that members are ​progressing through the Toastmasters educational program and ​achieving their public speaking goals. In addition, Kasthuri likes ​hiking, technology, and long drives.

Maria has been with toastmasters for over an year. She has ​played a pivotal role in shaping the club’s agenda with her ​innovative ideas. She responsible for attracting and retaining ​members. Her primary goal is to ensure that the club has a ​healthy and active membership base. Maria hosts occasional ​open houses at High Flyers to educate people about the ​benefits of Toastmasters and helping them progress towards ​their chosen pathways. In addition to her passion for public ​speaking, she loves music, singing, and acting.

Vice President Public Relations, 2024-25

Ex-President Srujan, boasts a robust ten-year tenure as a ​dedicated member of Toastmasters, where he has consistently ​refined his communication and leadership prowess across ​multiple clubs in Atlanta, Florida and California. Srujan is also the ​visionary founder of the High Flyers club, an initiative aimed at ​empowering individuals. Currently serving as the VP Public ​Relations at High Flyers, he’s responsible for promoting the club ​to both ,members and the community. Beyond his Toastmasters ​endeavors, he is a passionate tech and startup enthusiast, an avid ​gamer, a devoted music lover, and loves Football.

Sergeant at Arms, 2024-25

Andrew has been an active member of Toastmasters since 2023. ​He has served in multiple roles including Secretary, VPM, and ​now as the Sergeant at Arms. He’s the master of ceremonies, ​and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient ​running of each meeting. In addition to his contribution to ​each meeting in creating a positive and productive experience, ​Andrew is a fun guy.Ask him about ants, and he will tell you all ​about them.

Maverick channels his passion for effective communication and ​leadership skills through active participation in Toastmasters ​meetings. He is an enthusiast who delights in firing up a good mix ​and cruising on his motorcycle. Alongside these thrilling ​activities, he is dedicated to personal development by immersing ​himself in books and podcasts with the aim of inspiring others. ​With a sincere dedication to building connections and leveraging ​their network for the collective benefit, he is on a mission to ​make a positive impact.

Lee Ann ​Delarosa

Club Secretary, 2024-25

Lee Ann is an active club member since 2024. She joined the ​officers at High Flyers, this term as Club Secretary. She is the ​official record-keeper for the club. Her role is crucial in ​maintaining the club's administrative functions and ensuring ​compliance with Toastmasters International regulations. Lee ​Ann also handles club correspondence such as emails and and ​communication from people interested in joining High Flyers. ​In addition to her role as a secretary, Lee Ann is an artist. She ​sings, is a master of multiple musical instruments, and paints.

The High Flyers club, founded in August 2023 by Srujan Mishra and Jessie Fan, has become a vibrant hub of community and camaraderie at ​Google’s San Jose GOVO campus. As the first and only social club at the campus, it has provided a unique space for employees to connect, learn, and ​grow. The club extends its deepest gratitude to all the officers who have dedicated their time and energy to building and sustaining this thriving ​community. Their leadership, guidance, and tireless efforts have been instrumental in creating a positive and inclusive environment where ​everyone feels valued and supported.
